This is the New-Dan Ball Forum. I represent a member in what is a forum make to share and pass on information about the Dan-Ball Webpage (http://dan-ball.jp/en/ ). It is a webpage for games. We share information about the site and its games on our forum (such as a physics simulator,powdergame). The link is http://danballforum.proboards.com/ .
We are the NEW Dan-Ball Forum because we recently had a move from an old and corrupted forum. We have a long history. We are currently Forum of The Week, mentioned by Proboards. And from someone anonymous:"We are awesome. Just put it out there." When you come here you can register, go to the chat, and all kinds of things. Most of them involve interacting with other members of the forum. Anything you need? Contact us from the chat. The chat is at the bottom of our forum. It's always there at any page that you go to on our forums. So... I guess that's just a small summary of our forum. Thanks to Mark for helping me get this here!

Yes another new little thing I am offering you members

At Mynotepad I believe that you should be able to customise the forum to suit your needs, prehaps have it as your own little portal so I am pleased to announce that you may now ask for your own skin to be installed and available to you only :O

So how does this work?

You can find a skin online that is compatible with the MyBB software from here then send Mark a PM (Private message) telling him you want this skin to be installed.

I will then install the skin for you and then let you choose weather you want the skin to be viewable by just yourself or if you want others to use it too.

The benefits of having you own skin is that I will be able to add URL's to frequent websites that you visit and it can be customised to suite your needs.

Dont mess with the Heat Sink

Hello, and welcome to my tip of the morning.

Well it all started with a certain person working on a computer for a client, well all went well after a failed first try.

Now, you know that old saying dont touch whats not broken, well he went inside the Computer. The dust was immense so naturally out of the goodness of his heart, cleaned the computer, the worse of it was on the heat sink.

Now you think well this came out easy enough its gonna go back in just as easily, hmmm, that was 4am, would it go back in, would it hell.

Naturally he tried for a good hour and got rather annoyed, well extremely annoyed at that. Well, this one clip would not click back into place. He tried everything, with a little help from me (Holding the Light) and a few words of wisdom, well words only Adults would hear naturally when ones annoyed , it decided to click into place without the screw, Hurrah, well almost.

Now faced with a fresh problem, the screw wouldnt turn, thinking the worse he thought the thread had worn from the attempts to get it in the last hour and half. Well he came up with a solution, dont tighten the screws up till it clicks. with a little effort and 6 and a half hours after the computer arrived, 2 of them spent on the Heatsink alone and case removing and refixing. wires and all that, it worked, YAY

a big 10/10 for our wonderful Admin. After watching him tonight i think i can safetly say i dont wanna be a computer repairs person. Well not with one of them PC towers anyway.

I've done alot in my years on computers and just want to see how much I know and if I can do it and in the process I could learn more too.

Okay, so unlike pretty much every other thread on here, this is a serious thread. It seems out of place here, but this place is supposed to be like a notepad, you can write/say whatever you want. So deal with one serious/no spam thread .

The difference between a phobia and a fear is that phobias are more severe and irrational. Phobias are intense and irrational.

I have nyctophobia, which is phobia of the dark. One site called it achluophobia. It's been really intense and is affecting my sleep. So besides feeling like a baby who's afraid of the dark, I'm not sleeping...

Does anyone here have any phobias, things they just can't handle and can't control their fear of?

The MNP database seem to be being abit rude to me , I logged onto the local copy of MNP (only accessible by me) and i get this error message.

MyNotepad has been going well for a few years now, we have moved provider and members followed us which we thank for.

However now comes the time where I would like to know what you would like to see on the fourm, is there a specific board you would like? or maybe a specific feature.?

This suggestions thread is open to both members and staff so please post what you would like to see.
